Tensions inside the Real Madrid dressing room have reportedly escalated following another confrontation between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni, prompting an emergency meeting at the club’s training ground.
According to reports from MARCA, the latest incident was considered “very serious” by people close to the squad and has deepened concerns about the atmosphere within the team.
The dispute reportedly began earlier in the day when Valverde refused to shake Tchouaméni’s hand, creating tension throughout the training session. Matters then escalated after training, when the two midfielders were involved in another heated altercation inside the dressing room.
Several teammates allegedly stepped in to separate the pair, but during the confrontation Valverde suffered a cut that required hospital treatment. Reports claim the injury was not intentionally caused by Tchouaméni.
Club officials reacted quickly to the incident. An emergency meeting was held shortly afterward at the training complex, with senior executive José Ángel Sánchez reportedly present. Players remained at the facility as the club attempted to address the growing unrest and prevent further escalation.
The situation is said to have increased concerns within the club hierarchy, with sources describing the current mood around Real Madrid as tense and divided.
